I've had a few bottles of extra fizzy strawberry kombucha sitting in my fridge for a while. The bottles were past their sell by date and I wanted to use them before they had gone completely funky(kombucha can get a strange mushroomy flavor if left to age too long. Some folks don't mind this flavor, but it's not my favorite) I decided it's time to clean the fridge of them while they still tasted good. So I came up with this easy recipe to that you will love!

I have only tried this version, but I'm sure it would be just as yummy to swap out the lemon for a lime or use any other flavor of Kombucha. Play around with whatever you have available and let me know if you come up with a really good combo! I want to try it too. This recipe makes 1 serving, just double or triple it for multiple servings.
For the strawberry lemonade sparkler you will need these ingredients-
1 bottle of strawberry kombucha (purchase a 6 pack here)
1/2 lemon
Water
Sweetener of choice ( I use stevia)
Your favorite stemmed glass
Optional - ice
Squeeze the lemon into a glass. Add the sweetener and enough water to fill the glass half full. Stir together until mixed. Pour the strawberry kombucha into the glass and garnish with a slice of lemon. Enjoy!
